This Privacy Policy explains how Winora (winoraguide.com) collects and uses personal data when you visit the site, and the rights you have over that data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a fast, secure comparison site.

1. Who we are

2. The data we collect

We collect a small amount of data, most of it technical:

• Electronic identification data sent automatically by your browser: IP address, device type and model, operating system, browser type and version, screen size, language, referring page, timestamps and the pages you view on the site. From the IP address we derive an approximate location (country and region), never a street address.
• Interaction data about how the site is used: which ranking entries are clicked, how far pages are scrolled and which links lead to partner sites. Where this data is shared with partners it is aggregated and does not identify you.
• Contact data — your email address and whatever you write to us — if you choose to get in touch.

We do not ask for your name, date of birth, payment details or gambling history, and we never receive them from the operators we feature.

6. Data protection and retention

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with providers that maintain recognised security certifications. Access is limited to people who need it to run the site. Technical log data is kept for up to 12 months for security and analytics and then deleted or fully anonymised. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your query and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up.

7. Who we share data with

We share data only with:

• service providers who host the site, deliver content and protect it from abuse;
• analytics providers such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity;
• advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta, for campaign measurement;
• affiliate tracking providers and the operators we feature, in aggregated referral reports;
• regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

8. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations, the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards where appropriate.
